Stainless Steel Condenser Tubes
What is Stainless Steel Condenser Tubes?
Stainless Steel Condenser Tubes are efficiently designed for being a part of various applications including evaporator and condenser refrigeration cycle. These tubes are mostly found in chillers and they help to condense steam in a surface condenser, heat exchangers, etc. The Stainless Steel Condenser Tubes are primarily used for condensing the process fluids off. These are available in different sizes, i.e, in ⅝”, ¾” and 1” according to specific requirements. These condenser tubes come with low carbon content, which helps it to resist intergranular corrosion, and give superior performance. They also come with high tensile strength and are available at a very affordable price.
What is the difference between Stainless Steel Evaporator Tubes and SS Condensing Coil?
The tainless Steel Evaporator Tubes are designed with the aim of evaporating the process fluid off the outside of the tube. These are mostly found in heat exchangers. They are an active part of the condenser and evaporator refrigeration cycle, and are also used for condensing steam in the surface condensers. They also are present in all the processes that fall between these two. The Stainless Steel Condenser coil is very useful in various industries including food and beverages, oil and gas, etc. They are mainly used to reduce the possibility of leaks and chances of corrosion. These are extensively used in applications that are present in the marine environment.
Advantages of SS condenser tubing
The benefits of Stainless Steel condenser tubing are:
- They offer good resistance to corrosion. They are also capable of resisting the impact of steam or water droplets coming at high speed.
- They can effectively reduce corrosion caused due to ammonia.
- The stainless steel materials are quite effective in resisting phobic corrosion and impact corrosion.
- It offers greater resistance to leakage when compared to titanium condenser tubing.
- These are easy to maintain and durable, which means they can last really long.
- The speed of cooling water in stainless steel tubes can be increased which can improve the heat coefficient and helps impurities in the cooling tube to wash away.
